30 Days of Creativity: Day 30 – Creative Force

Ith-3‘ve made it! 30 days of journaling. This is a huge accomplishment especially for a blossoming blogger as myself. In spite of everything that’s going on in my life though, this accomplishment seems pointless. It’s not going to perform a miracle or heal a family. It’s not going to be the shoulder to cry on.

Cancer. It’s scariest six letter word in the dictionary. It’s the only work that can rip a family apart and steal hope from the biggest heart. The rain pours out my window reflecting the leaking faucets my eyes have transformed into. It’s gray and dark outside with no trace of sunshine.

If there is one thing I can hopefully take from this process, is learning to express the swirling emotions inside.

Today’s Prompts:

  • My wild creative force looks like…
  • My wild creative force feels like…
  • My wild creative force is asking me to…
  • My wild creative force wants me to experience…

My wild creative force looks like the super hero I’m dying to be. She’s muscular and chiseled from head to toe. She has long, thick dark brown hair that never seems out-of-place. She doesn’t hide when life gets tough, but embraces the difficulties.

My wild creative force feels like a military tank. It’s busting down walls and never taking no for the answer. It’s unstoppable. It’s the ultimate weapon.

My wild creative force is asking me to trust that she’ll lead me to new heights. To believe that I don’t need to be anyone else because the hero I want to be is already inside. She’s asking me to get uncomfortable and keep fighting.

My wild creative force wants me to experience a life worth living. A life that you see in magazines and read in books. A life where good always triumphs over evil and family is always first. A life that leaves legacies of love.
